The search is continuing for the body of a two-year-old girl at Voelklip near Herolds Bay in the Southern Cape.
Rescue officials, including police divers and helicopters, have been searching the area since Thursday afternoon, when a car plunged down the cliff of the lookout site.
The child's 34-year-old mother and 8-year-old
brother were also in the car when it allegedly veered out of control.
The boy managed to escape from the vehicle before it went down the cliff.
The child has been hospitalised with minor injuries.
Police have recovered the mother's body.
The area has been the scene of several tragic incidents over the past few years.
