Tributes are pouring in for well-known veteran entertainer, Alvon Collison.
He was known in theatre circles as the 'King of Caberet' who became a household name in the 1970's.
One of his award winning performances included his role as Pharoah in music stage production Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat.
Long time
friend and artist, Alistair Izobell, has fond words for the entertainer: "An absolute lover of life and absolute lover of his fellow human beings and it was just a joy not only to work with him, it was a joy to be his friend and to experience this special spirited person, the many laughs and visits with him and the many lessons over the years.
This special, special human being who leaves a legacy forever and a footprint of smiles and a wonderful memory of someone who we all should aspire to be like.""https://scontent-jnb1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/p526x296/142317122_3905119589540396_6286719106780115732_o.jpg?_nc_cat=109&ccb=2&_nc_sid=110474&_nc_ohc=YhLQjGKjhkkAX8_pkeB&_nc_ht=scontent-jnb1-1.xx&tp=6&oh=0a51967ba823f8acdd6d461ff419ad88&oe=6032A49F"
