Suspect arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition in Ravensmead #GunsOffTheStreets WESTERN CAPE - A 36-year-old man was arrested on 21 January at about 11:20 at a premises in Protea Street, Ravensmead when members of Ravensmead Crime Prevention Unit followed up on information of a firearm at the said

address.

The premises was searched and a 9mm pistol and four rounds of ammunition were found inside a safe .

A charge of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition were registered and is under investigation at Ravensmead SAPS.

The suspect will appear at the Bellville Magistrate Court on 25 January 2021 on the mentioned charges.
