A 69-year-old man was killed this morning following a home invasion on Strydom Street in Oranjeville.

AT 06h10 ER24 Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the local authorities already in attendance.

Medics were lead into the residence bedroom where the patient found.

On assessment, medics found that the man had already

succumbed to his numerous stab wounds.

Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.

The details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
