Rescue officials have resumed the search for the body of a 2-year-old girl in Voelklip near Herolds Bay in the Southern Cape.
This after a vehicle with the child's mother plunged down the cliffs of the look out site yesterday afternoon.
According to police, the 34-year-old woman allegedly lost control of her
vehicle.
The woman's 8-year-old son managed to escape from the vehicle and has been hospitalised with minor injuries.
Police divers recovered the mothers body yesterday.
This is the fourth tragic incident in the area over the past few years.
In October 2019, Heidi Scheepers and her two children went off the cliff in her vehicle.
