The Western Cape Education Department has expressed its condolences on the death of one of its officials, Trevor Francke.
Director for the Cape Metro South Education District, Granville Stander, says the department is shocked by his sudden death.
Francke served in the Metro South Eduction District as an e-learning adviser.
Stander says Francke
was highly respected for his expertise in e-learning.
He was recently asked to lead a District Innovation Team tasked to develop and implement an e-learning and digital literacy advancement strategy for the district.
It's not known at this stage what the cause of death is.
