Former president Jacob Zuma will not appear before the commission of inquiry into state capture today as scheduled.
Adjourning the commission's proceedings last week chairperson, deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo confirmed that Zuma will not be appearing today as planned.
Justice Zondo says Zuma has requested time to allow for the finalization
of his review application and constitutional court matter.
Zuma was expected to appear before the commission between January 18 and 22 and again between February 15 and 19.
In November last year Zuma walked out of the commission's proceedings when his bid to have Zondo recuse himself was denied."https://scontent-jnb1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/p526x296/140010302_3891171520935203_6392049463174287141_o.jpg?_nc_cat=109&ccb=2&_nc_sid=8024bb&_nc_ohc=LLSgcdm4K2IAX85eleh&_nc_ht=scontent-jnb1-1.xx&tp=6&oh=0e75c0ce749e2747556fb6d4c029475c&oe=602C7FC5"
