The South African Table Grape Industry (SATI) has released the 2nd Crop Estimate for the 2020/2021 season.
SATI says due to the geographical diversity of the country's five production regions, crop estimates from the Olifants River, Berg River and Hex River regions in the Western Cape are expected to make up
for the volumes lost.
The Olifants River region is expected to produce up to four- comma-one million cartons.
The Berg River region, which is the third biggest in terms of production, has reported equally good quality grapes and decent sized berries."https://scontent-jnb1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/139085329_3878166328902389_4232051201963544456_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&ccb=2&_nc_sid=8024bb&_nc_ohc=JDQi0a_qhnQAX93niLE&_nc_ht=scontent-jnb1-1.xx&oh=ebef57c3eb34e9253dc177eec56dedb2&oe=60250907"
