Gauteng: Late Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a hazmat incident on the corners of Swartkoppies Road and Potgieter Street in Alberton.

Reports had indicated that an underground fuel pipe had burst.

Fortunately no injuries were reported and the scene was handled by Alberton Fire and Rescue, Drizit and metro
