Drug dealer arrested in Aliwal North EASTERN CAPE - The determination of the SAPS to curb the dealing in drugs continued to yield results.

This follows the arrest of a 51-year-old suspect for dealing in drugs .

It is alleged that on Saturday, 28 November 2020 at 07:15 members of

the Aliwal North K9 Unit were on duty performing crime prevention duties when they received positive information on a drug dealer.

The identified house in Schalk Street Hilton was searched and drugs were found hidden in a speaker and pillow cases in the two bedrooms.

The members confiscated 146 mandrax tablets, 20 bags of tik to the value of R16 000-00 as well as a cash amount of R9353-00 and a pellet gun.
