The tragic plane crash that set Matsieng Club House ablaze yesterday may have been an act of suicide, sources close to the incident have revealed.

About 13 vehicles of unknown value are said to have burnt down in the inferno. No casualties were reported except for the pilot who was certified dead at Deborah- Retief Memorial Hospital.

Botswana Police Spokesperson Dipheko Motube confirmed the incident. He said they received a call from a guest house in Rasesa, the caller reporting the crash.

"The pilot was

certified dead upon arrival at the hospital. He is said to be from South Africa. The Civil Aviation is conducting the investigations to establish the cause of the crash," said Motube
