FARM MURDER IN LUTZVILLE WESTERN CAPE - 8 MONTH PREGNANT VICTIM SHOT TWICE IN ATTACK...

10 February 2019: The South African Police Service is currently on the scene of a Farm Murder where the body of 57-year-old, Jaco Louw was found this morning on a farm in Lutzville in the Western Cape.

Johandre van Zyl, AfriForum's regional head of community safety in the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape, said a farm worker found Louw's body outside his home. He had a stab wound on his body.


According to AfriForum's Head of Community Safety, Ian Cameron, Louw was also a Member of the AfriForum Farm Watch. Louw died from the stab wound.

Louw lived alone on the farm. At this stage it's not known how many attackers were involved in the incident and if anything was stolen. No Arrests made and SA Police Service investigation continues.

IN A SEPARATE INCIDENT:

Sunday, 10 February 2019 - A Couple with their 3 children were attacked on a farm between Middelburg and Witbank in Mpumalanga. A female victim was shot in her hand and back - she is 8 months pregnant.

The male victim sustained one gunshot wound. Fortunately the wounded mother gathered her 3 children and managed to get away in a vehicle. The male victim was later transported to hospital where he re-united with the rest of the family.
